Minecraft.
Basically, you wake up on a desert island, punch trees to gain wood, craft tools, find coal and build a house. If you do this too slowly, and dont have a house by night. You end up trying to find a habitable cave whilst running away from skeletons, zombies ,spiders and giant exploding green penises (A.K.A Creepers), as one does.

So i return to my world in weird minecraft japanese-o-vision to find a chicken sittting on my bed. I had previously decided to dig for caverns, so no time like the present, i thought.

After digging for a short while i came across this little fella, swiftly killed him with a wooden, yes wooden, sword and entered the cave. His brother then killed me.
I wandered on, undeterred. The first thing i found was gold, useless seeing as i didnt have any iron to make into a pickaxe, but a good find nonetheless.

Walking for aproximately 3 seconds found me coal, this lot went on, and on, and on. A bother to dig in the most part, but appreciated. Coal would be needed if i was to light up the cavern, which turned out to be about 6589960 Squares miles.
I got my possesions back, and met a spider. He was hungry, and fell victim also to my wooden sword. After this i switched the mode to peacefull to avoid further interuptions. I collected his string and soldiered on.

I jumped down a few rocks, and swam down a waterfall, to find this! Lapiz Lazuli, at the front and back, a bit of iron, and some redstone above the lava lake. I mined all of it except the redstone and started to build….

This! My base of operations , complete with lava lake. I made an iron pickaxe, with my freshly smelted ingots, and made a few more torches. Now i set about my next objective.

Mining redstone, a boring activity, redstone takes ages to mine. But i dont care, i like redstone circuits so i get every last bit. And there was a lot of it.

I swam up a waterfall, something you can only do in minecraft, and lit a new tunnel. I quickly found this, some gold and more lapiz lazuli. Is it just me or does gold look really cool in this texture pack?

At the end of the tunnel i found this. Iron, touching lava -__- it takes a while to block off the lava and mine it.

I headed back to my base to smelt some bars, and tunneled round the lava lake, only to find another one. They’re quite common at this level. Either that or i have pointless luck.

The waterfall next to my base was knocking me dangerously close to the second lava lake, so i blocked the water flow. Only to find about 85 million bits of obsidian. If only i had a diamond pick axe…

Which i soon found after swimming up two waterfalls to the cavern’s top level. It yielded only 3 blocks, still enough for the pickaxe, which i havent yet made.

Mushrooms!!! These were up the final tunnel running along from the main entrance, i found the on my way out. Time for some hearty mushroom soup i thinks!

So i finished and emtied my loot into a chest, all of it from this one dig! Theres about 250 coal, and 200 redstone, then theres 3 diamond, 53 iron, 37 gold, 56 lapiz lazuli, and of course 5 flint.

And so i sat down to my lovely dinner of underground mushroom stew, is this edible?
